Pros

Steady hours for full-time employees 401K Success Sharing Homer Fund If you are a sheep, and can follow the whims of your ever changing direct supervisor, then this is the place for you.

Cons

Constantly changing work days that make work/home life balance impossible. Non-inclusive celebrations - If you work closing shift, don't expect to be included in successar sharing activities or annual store holiday party. Entire month of corporate sponsored activities/perks for cashiers and what is now deemed "CAM" a celebration that completely ignores the fact that sales associates and specialists drive the sales in the stores not the cashiers. Promotions based not upon what you know, but who you know and what behinds you kiss. Awards and Recognition given is strictly political.

Pros

There actually is no pro to any position at the store level.

Cons

There is poor communication between management and the associates on the store level. Also promised that are made to the associates are not kept. Advancement beyond Department supervisor is an unclear path and they will forget about you. Mentor ship is a joke because no one in upper management is there to lead or train, and they do not recognize the hard workers. They are drastically understaffed and will will move you around to fill holes in the schedule instead of hiring appropriately. Upper Management will go home on time while the associates have to work overtime due to lack of staffing. Audits are a joke due to the fact that 3-4 people from district management will come in and tell you the same thing.
