Pros

Independence and autonomy. Really running your own business.

Cons

No training. Little support. Old boys club. Only for the really rich mentality. Common, middle class America isn't worth pursuing. Antiquated software. Terrible home office support.

Pros

BIG,Old ,Fancy Commercials, nice logo

Cons

Beaurocratic, Dishonest, Tarnished, Large setllements and fines are business as usual, Corporate shareholders interests over clients interests are paramount. A company that puts the burden and resosibility on its workforce rather than the desicion makers who are the ones truly liable.

Pros

UBS is a trusted name among wealthy individuals and you get access to some exclusive investment opportunities (Apollo, Blackstone, etc.) for your clients due to UBS's size.

Cons

At the end of the day if you can't bring in new assets then you're out the door.
