Pros

The culture is the best of European and American business culture it seems. I feel as though the company works for me and am very happy to work for us as a result (that wasn't a typo). Management and support areas are lean, but still effective - it feels like a much smaller company in terms of the problem solving and empowered cogs that run an adroitly effective machine.

Cons

Client user interface is outdated versus competitors, but not for long. The fixed income desk is not as skilled analytically as the group at Morgan Stanley where I was for nearly ten years prior.

Pros

Good product shelf including traditional investments, hedge funds and private equity and management that understands the needs of financial advisors. More emphasis being placed on financial planning and wealth management.

Cons

New high deductible health care plan has increased cost of basic health coverage for all employees. Basic premiums have stayed the same but out of pocket expenses have increased significantly.
