Pros

Love the people, the company is huge and they're very flexible as far as inhouse mobility is concerned. Great benefits, flex time possible and accepted, 5 weeks paid vacation...

Cons

Bureaucracy is inevitable in such a large institution The offices in the center of town are older and don't boast facilities like the newer offices (who have showers, gyms, meditation spaces, relaxed sitting areas...)

Pros

UBS has a very good graduate trainee program with great exposure & opportunities to network with senior management. The work is challenging and that makes it so much more exciting, people here are incredibly smart and nice too.

Cons

The bank it is today is very different from the bank it was in the past (pre financial crisis). In this era, there's a lot more growth being in technology - that said it is good to explore new opportunities in Fintech too. But if i were to start up something in Fintech, i will not be able to reap all the benefits (since it is a large firm and i cannot get the same type of shares that other Fintech startups can get)
