Pros

UBS has a lot of positives and training opportunities. They also strongly support the pursuit of additional education, certifications, and security licensing (and will sometimes reimburse you for them once completed!). They also give advisors and their clients access to many banking products and services that allow you to cross-sell and be a one-stop shop for your clients.

Cons

Being on the right team is crucial. If you are not on the right team, their expectations for bringing in new assets and clients will be near impossible to reach. Very high standards and you don't get paid on accounts less than 250k. There is very little structure provided by the company (as they let you run your book as you want), so making sure you are on a team that has proven processes and procedures to bring in new accounts and maintain existing relationships is critical for success.
