Pros
Mostly great people - some bizarre exceptions that the system no longer seems to remove (both in terms of calibre and attitude. Challenging environment with very real large-scale problems. All the benefits you'd expect from a large enterprise. Fantastic London office (if you happen to be based in 5BG).
Cons
Huge segregation between IT and other 'cost centre' operations and the actual business. Not competitive on salary and particularly don't reward people who have spent a long time with the company. Struggling to retain good people and not really doing an awful lot about that (presumably because it enables a shift to lower cost locations).
