      A great company with challenge and diversity, work on the pay rises though!

      Pros

      I enjoy working at UBS for its professionalism, its modern and progressive image, its contribution to charity work, the challenge that the job brings and the great team that I am a member of. I have enjoyed support from both managers and colleagues in my immediate and surrounding teams. I have also been impressed with the ValueFlex benefits scheme that the firm offers to all employees.

      Cons

      UBS should think more about rewarding the small cogs in its machine (i.e. the lowest-level employees) who keep its day-to-day business running. Record profits and an enormous bonus pool unfortunately do not filter all the way down.

      1. Too many staff from other regions into Singapore 2. Some of the talent not properly recognized 3. This leads to motivation issues. 4. Cross IT team communication needs to be improved

      Waste of 3.5 years of my career

      Pros

      Benefits good; lots of employee events and perks to snap up. Art passes which can be used as much as you like and each employee receives two free passes.

      Cons

      Middle office management in need of a reality check. Poor promotion process. Not clear on scope of teams and remit of functions. Happy to waste budget hiring consultants in the wrong field who need training from permanent employees.
