The company did not insure me, so I was not even declared to the CCSS.
This is embarrassing as you are not entitled to any social security insurance if your employer does not declare you....I had to check with HR and if I had not pushed them in order for them to double-check with the CCSS, nothing would have happened.. really unprofessional and unacceptable...
Other than that, very unfriendly and unprofessional people work in that company, I can only speak for Luxembourg as I very much presume that it is different in every location. A lot of co-workers who seem completely disconnected from reality in regards to the nowadays context of globalization. Too many people working there for too long, self-absorbed, very bad communicants. Making rules easy for themselves but difficult for others. I wanted to have a nice working experience in Central Europe, you can forget about it here. Luxembourg is said to be international and multicultural, but it is really not the case.. if you come from a different working background, you are clearly not appreciated for your skills and no efforts are made to help you to adapt to your new work environment.
In the end, very bad work experience.
