Pros

Speaking of IT only - good culture and great people, quite a few have been around for many years. Some IT folks are people with very deep technical skills. Management in general pretty strong and demanding which can be considered as downside too.

Cons

on IT operations side work/life balance issues, additional weekend/off hours work and in times can be stressful environment to work in. In some areas benefits went down recently due to market, and company losses.

UBS offers very good medical benefits and maternity leave also unlimited sick days.

Cons

UBS is a very cold company to work for and very "clickish". They don't care much about the little people.
