Pros

Great work environment. Excellent management. There is little oversight on how you do your work as long as you do it.

Cons

Technology needs upgrading. The web based system is extremely slow. Apparently there are plans to upgrade the platform. Regulation can be burdensome, although that is not unique to UBS.

Pros

You have Full Autonomy to run your business as you would like to. You are given access to many high level investment strategies, offerings, and consulting groups that you cannot find on the street.

Cons

The firm takes large percentage of your production. The firm is very Risk Averse when it comes to new modes of business. You run into more regulatory and legal conversations that cloud the main point of the engagement in question.
