Pros

UBS has an open architecture, as well as good senior management who is accessible and are good communicators.

Cons

It's difficult to advance into other roles at UBS. Advancement opportunities are limited; especially after reorganizing the branch/complex/regional structure. And if you're not on a team, it's a challenge to get good support staff.

Pros

Supportive culture, product agnostic, responsive management, allow you to manage your practice without interference as long as you are operating ethically.

Cons

Typical corporate structure. Too much of high priced management that doesn't appear to be adding any value. Too much fiddling with payouts.

Pros

Strong financials and growth over the last few years. Management is a key to the turn around for Wealth Management.

Cons

None at the location I was in, in MI. Management and the teams were all great and very supportive.
