Pros

Quick & easy hiring process; if you apply with a clean background, you'll get the job.

Cons

Straight manual labor without breaks or lunches. Hours are sporadic and commute changes every day. Driver sits in the truck while you slave away making 1/4 of what he makes. Without the coverage of the union, seasonal employees still have to pay membership fees, again WITHOUT membership.

Pros

On your feet, not cramped behind a desk all day. If you get a good person to work with then the day goes by faster.

Cons

Bad pay. Don't know till the morning of how many hours you are going to work. You have to pay a small amount to union due seven though you get zero union benefits as a part time employee.

Pros

Earn extra holiday cash and get more job experience. Can lead to a permanent job after seasonal period.

Cons

Long hours in all weather conditions. Dress warm. Must be very careful in certain conditions, but well worth it.
