Pros

UPS IT does things right. It pays people well and invests in technology and infrastructure and process. There is generally plenty of time off allowed, except during the holidays. You have a lot of job security no real fear of layoffs.

Cons

Required to come to work in the worst weather conditions and do dangerous airplane loading jobs you aren't used to doing, in the worst conditions - a recipe for disaster if ever there was one. You cannot advance unless you are one of the few, so you have to learn to be underutilized and basically bored in your position. This leads to a lot of people doing the least they can, because they see people with lesser qualifications moving up.
