Awesome benefits! Health insurance rocks even though we have to pay a portion it is still way better than majority private companies! You get to meet people from all over the world.

Cons

Slowwwwww. Everything moves at a snail's pace when you first arrive. Typical government office in this respect. A lot of hoops to jump through to even just get supplies.

Pros

Great people, amazing experience. If you are lucky you can volunteer at the General Assembly. You will also get a certification after finishing your internship.

Cons

Unpaid internship. You don't get anything, not even some free lunch. Also if you are planning to stay after and find a job there, it is very hard to do unless you have time and connections. You can also try to get a contract position there but also need connections.

First of all the salary is great. Your co workers are nice and easy to get along with. Also the work was challenging but in a good way.

Cons

Contract team assistant jobs have no stability or benefits. You only work for a short period of time. You have to hope they have a job opening afterwards or else you will be unemployed quickly.
