Pros

Great long-term benefits (life insurance, health insurance, pension, annual leave, sick leave, ceritified sick leave). The organization continues to work towards greater flexibility and work/life balance. Amazing benefits for maternal/paternal family leave.

Cons

Mobility ceases after 'x' grade level (see advice to management). Managers have no formal training on how to be an effective manager.

Pros

great work-life balance, excellent benefits, reputable place to work, get to meet people from all over the world for real

Cons

extremely hard to get into and become a permanent employee, the work is boring and not so challenging most of the time, your supervisor can be really really bureaucratic and old-fashioned,
