Pros

My teammates are very friendly. There are a lot of interesting projects for you, only if you know what you want. You have the opportunity to know some global issues and broaden your view.

Cons

Pros

Working for UN, one gains international experience, works with multi cultures, works with highly qualified professionals. Target aimed at is amelioration of people's lives as opposed to profit maximization.

Cons

It is a giant organization with very little mechanism of rewarding success and punishing failures. In many instances both the hard working and the unproductive staff are treated the same way. It is also a huge structure with little control on unjustified expenditure.
