      Work life Balance Is very Bad & Females employees are not safe!!!

      Pros

      I was working in VMware in pune ( shivajinagar) as a business analyst. Work life Balance is so phethtic here. You need to come on in every public holiday and it's hardly ur leave get approved by your managers. I screwed my personal life after joining VMware, there is no work life Balance here. If u really want to spend some time with ur family members, so this is not a company for you. I was shocked even your manager expected from u to work on 15 Aug, where is all office close in India. They forcefully give night shift all there employees even they don't want to work. Please don't join this company specially Pune Shivajinagar branch. Even girls are not safe in this co, they forcefully tell female employees to night shifts. I hope after read this HR will take some necessary action!!

      The ability to scam your way to revenue credit by getting access to purchase credits meant for others

      Cons

      Shady business practices. Too many lines of business without any method / process / benefit to work together. No work / life balance. No support from lines of practice management.

      Pros

      VMware is an Industry leader in virtualization. They have a beautiful campus and generally good, smart people.

      Cons

      On many occasions, middle managers are not acting on the best interest of the company, but rather working to increase their own influence and fiefdom at the expense of others. Job titles like "Director" are achieved as a way to increase one's salary, with some of these so-called directors directing little else than their own work, whereas some have 2 or 3 direct reports in total.
