Pros

Tag- Airwatch by vmware. Mdm product is good. Free Cabs for employees.

Cons

This Company does not has a paystandards, like all other IT companies follow. Few people get good package who belong to managers favourite group. ( even though they r not talented) They never care for employees. Work satisfaction. ..!! What is that... Dev team is controlled by a person who values only his group ppl. People inside office communicate in local languages. Some groups in malayalam kannada, telugu all most all language. Onsite is based on how you please your senior manager and not by ur work. Nothing is transperent. No fun activities in the company. Gifts given to employees are useless and are of cheap quality.

Pros

Nice work culture, least politics. You will be not be pressurized to get things done, until you really ask for it. Cool and helping managers(in context of work, only). One can explore technology if he/she desire to do so, if you really try hard. If you just want to sit and work (without food/any nature driven requirements), it is the perfect place.

Cons

I will list very few: 1. Most unhygienic and miss-managed office. Even cafeteria stinks a lot of times and you might end up running towards all corners of the office just for a single TISSUE paper. 2. Food is real real real bad (if you get cups, plate, spoon, etc to taste it- you need to be luckiest on the planet). 3. No fun. You may get scolded for using the word 'FUN'. 4. More than 200 employees in Bangalore office - Not a single HR. I heard some times that there is, but trust me there is none. No one cares on anything other then tasks/bugs. 5. There is no one to whom you can suggest/complain about any requirement or miss-management. Non-work related suggestions are just not even heard.

Pros

VMware has an amazing reputation within the Technical industry, is one of the world's largest Software companies, with great benefits and competitive wages.

Cons

"vmWomen" is the most startling drawback in this company. While I fully support equality in the workplace, vmWomen does not encourage its members to seek equality, it flat-out encourages its members to pursue gender-based preferential treatment. They have even gone so far as to broadcast an internal message encouraging the female employees of vmWomen to recruit, hire and promote other women - even if they have little to no technical experience. Sadly, this flagrant discrimination extends itself to the aforementioned HR-related processes and actions.
