      Has potential for moving up, good safety policies, good overarching initiatives regarding diversity, professionalism, etc on the corporate level

      Cons

      Unwilling to be flexible to work outside the traditional career trajectory, little follow through with initiatives in the field offices

      Pros

      There are decent advancement opportunities, benefits are ok, fringe benefits used to be much better.

      Cons

      Still have plenty of "good ol' boy" offices out there. I've seen my share of safety managers pushed out for no reason. Too many transitions and changes in top leadership within the last few years.

      Pros

      Good people, competitive pay. Lower level management is very supportive and tries their best to help employees grow professionally. Many opportunities to work in different regions if you want to travel.

      Cons

      The company has been tightening the belt a lot lately. Raises have been delayed, some of the perks have disappeared, vacation policy isn't great.
