Pros

It's a big company with an ethics committee. I'm still to see how agile it really is though. Pension contributions and bonus are very good. This department is extremely relaxed, b ut that's also the negative.

Cons

I've never seen anything like that. If you want to work for a company where you get paid well for literally not doing anything at all, this department at Veolia is for you. Your face needs to fit though and if you have any ambition to get anything positive going you will be pushed out. If you know the manager you don't even need to be half qualified for your position. But don't worry, if you don't, they do zero background checks, so if you have criminal convictions or need to make up your CV, no problem: they don't care. Because they don't expect you to do any work, they only give you chromebooks. Be sure to not download anything, so you can open illegible documents (e.g Excel sheets) on a proper computer. They will penalise you for it if they want. They are quite paranoid about downloading anything at all. Bullying complaints will be ignored if they target people they don't want to target. As in all companies: Don't trust HR. They are not here to support you. They are here to fire you if Management wants that. This one also ignores confidentiality policies. They also tend to forget to tell you in the interview that you only get the car allowance if your car is quite new and has a Co2 lower than 129.

Hi, thank you for your review. We're disappointed to hear that your current experience has not been a positive one but really do appreciate your comments. We want Veolia to be a place where everyone enjoys their work and feels valued and respected. All of our teams in HR work hard to support colleagues so if you have any concerns you can speak to them, our employee support teams or your manager. I will feed your comments back to the relevant team and I hope in doing so we are able to improve your experience working at Veolia. Kind regards, Veolia Talent Acquisition Team.
