Great company and benefits, but support programs lacking
Pros
I have been with Veolia for nearly two years. The company is a great place to work with wonderful, professional staff. I feel like I am truly making a difference with the work that I am doing. There are also a wide variety of different opportunities to support various clients across the water and energy sector. The benefits and compensation are both above what I had expected.
Cons
The support departments can be challenging. With the recent reorganizations the support programs (Finance, HR, IT, etc) can be challenging to work with because the staff is so spread out. It can often times feel like you are on an island and do not know who to reach out to when you have a problem. These support functions have improved since I started in mid 2014, but it is still difficult to get certain support at times.
