      Pros

      The company have good benefits but is going through rough times.

      Cons

      The management is laying off people to meet the profit goals. They do not care about their employees seniority, actually it looks like they are getting rid of older employees regardless their experience and years of loyalty.

      Some products are good which are old now.

      Pathetic work culture in newly hired product teams. Managers not at all technical and doesnt understand small technical things. Horrible work culture and politics everywhere,

      Everyone at this company is great to work for and with. Benefits are great. They promote work-life-balance. Depending on your job title/manager is remote-friendly environment. Your contribution is valued and rewarded.

      Cons

      C-Levels Executives are penny-pinchers and looking out for themselves only. Restructuring at this company is expected so don't dream about working until you retire. Since Symantec separated into 2 separate companies (Symantec and Veritas), Veritas' future has been declining and no one knows what will be this company's future in 3-5 years.
