Pros

Some great people with great talents that deserve much better. All off them cannot wait to leave.

Cons

The corporate culture is the worst I ever experienced . At Veritas ISO, you are expected to sit down and do your work, there is no collaboration. I received no training, and was expected to succeed immediately. That is like asking a fish to climb tree. If you don't, it's your own fault. I was a part of the ISO team, which is a total joke. As many progressive companies move towards flexible work environments, Veritas ISO is moving further from it. In my couple months in this position, I never had any type of 121 or coaching from my manager to discuss performance, much less what my carreer goals are. There is constant turnover for all of the aforementioned reasons, and as such, I had 4 different managers in less than 12 months. I cannot stress enough, stay away from the ISO . If I could, I would give them a ZERO

Beware of the Cloud BU...

Pros

I liked my immediate co workers. Genuine people just trying to do an honest's days worth of work.

Cons

I was pushed out and sexually harassed while in the Cloud BU. Not sure if it's still around. Due to the ever changing management reorganization, my team was moved to the new Cloud BU. My move into that organization was tumultuous. The senior management brought in as yes men, and so long as you said yes, you were part of the club. Challenging assumptions or decisions was not welcomed, and as soon as it happened you were pushed outside of the circle. Once you were outside the circle, you were given less work and less information essentially giving them leverage that your job was obsolete. All hand demos were vaporware where leadership opening lied about progress to Executives. It was embarrassing. This forced engineers to work long nights and weekends to meet impossible deadlines. I documented all of this and spoke about it multiple times to HR. I was not protected and I felt that I was threatened to leave or be laid off in the next round. Ultimately, HR is there to protect the company, and I learned that the hard way.
