Lots of Drama. I had high hopes when joining this company, but quickly realized this place is so far behind, they think they are ahead. Like many other Legacy companies, many redundant, under-paid, over-worked people doing meaningless tasks that have no effect on the bottom line. Suspense surrounds the building like a dense fog. With no clear direction, weak management, and a penny mindset, how could you expect anything else? Why would anyone want to work here?

Very incompetent pay, stock options is useless paper, CEO always says we are going to IPO in 5 yrs Awful management, as a SW you never want nontechnical people make decisions for you. At Veritas everyone else is your boss: UX, testing team, your nontech boss, your boss’ nontech boss. And it keeps your objective swinging, more often rework your past effort... Frequent layoffs, the people you coworked yesterday might get fired today, what’s worse is you will need to pick up his leftover task If you want to make yourself a trash, stay at Veritas for 5+ yrs, and your dream will come true People are not focused on their task, because you will only get promoted only if you are good at bragging, it causes a bunch of useless people get highly promoted, and the actual contributors get underpaid Overly used utility.
