Good for a Uni Part-Time job

Pros

Good company to begin with. Training is okay but could be better, get shown how to do a job once and then expected to do it by yourself the next time. Pay is okay but breaks are not going to be paid for soon.

Cons

Bonus isn't worth having and it is only given once a year. Hours are unsocial and long, often if you can't stay later or help cover the over time you won't be liked. If you face fits kind of attitude. Management isn't brilliant, not sure what they actually do all day.

Pros

Friendly staff, good benefits and a bonus for being a partner. Also generally there will be overtime going if you want it.

Cons

The managers can be quite condescending sometimes, and they are quite strict at waitrose as well, and sometimes tell people off in front of customers.

Pros

The benefits such as the discount card and partner choice were good.

Cons

The training was terrible I was always thrown in the deep end. I also felt there was no progression in the company and they were very backward compared to other supermarkets.
