Pros

The company is owned by it's partners so it's in everyone's interests to work as hard as they can constantly. That way then the bonus will be bigger. When I was there the bonus was 15% of your total earnings of that year so more than an extra month of salary for free essentially.

Cons

Often customers can be particularly difficult due to the high standard expected from the brand so it can be quite stressful at the end of a ten hour shift if you have a difficult customer insistent on you getting something from the warehouse (that probably isn't even in there)

Good pay and even better benefits. Good amount of breaks.

Cons

Very tiring job and a lot more physically demanding than anticipated.

Waitrose is a great company who have great customer service ethics which I have and use on a daily basis.

Cons

Waitrose need to treat their employees the way they treat their customers and employ more staff.
