Pros

Very flexible with regards to helping out when I need time off for University issues. Relaxed environment, enjoyable place to work

Cons

Some slack practices, such as when taking on overtime, it's just written on paper, so a member of management has to physically enter this onto the timecard. Can result in being underpaid, very rarely happens

Pros

- Varied tasks and lots of training: till trained, desk trained, replenishment and occasional help on other sections - Given responsibility when I become one of the more experienced till operators, aiding in training new part-time staff - Good salary

Cons

- Repetitive tasks - Little flexibility with shift swapping (dependant on management) - Little encouragement to become cross-trained, necessary to be independent and push for additional training across departments
