Pros

Most the managers are very nice. As far as retail goes and working in a supermarket, this is one of the best ones to work if you dont mind being scrutinised Great discount. Managers are not afraid to get their hands dirty and replenish stock on shop floor.

Cons

They expect you to work the cages faster then what is realistically possible, at least for me, i am not a machine and couldn't keep up with the faster experienced staff members. Team leaders would make direct and indirect rude remarks about you working to slow. Replenishment staff stressed out. Rediculous amout of training to stack a shelf, silly online courses. To much upheavel for a 3 month review (writing in book ect) its over the top and irritating.

Pros

- Great place to work for students. - Good pay compared to other leading supermarkets, plus the glorious bonus in March, normally around 15% of yearly earnings. Pretty handy for students funding summers abroad. - General nice atmosphere among employees, again compared with other supermarket workers and a general bitterness is felt sometimes.

Cons

- Team leaders and managers tend to be people who have worked there the longest, not the best people. - Managers sometimes expect very long hours over busy periods e.g. Christmas.
