Pros

JLP is all about team work and feeling comfortable in the work place which makes you feel like a real partner in the company. They are understanding when there are work issues and partners are always easy to speak too. I enjoyed my time because I had the perfect amount of hours and there was plenty of over time to do! I was trained in 3 different areas, Waitrose are great with giving you new opportunities and let you experience different departments to find your best skills.

Cons

Sometimes waitrose does not support you when it comes to leaving or transferring to another store in England. I had difficulty transferring for University and asked a managers help however they did little to support me. I understand there is a lot of work to do so don't hold them responsible for anything. Some partners are treated differently to others, For example, some are disciplined less then others when the same action occurs, this could be seen as favouritism but I'm sure this occurs in all companies, not just The JLP.
