Pros

The schedule is flexible. I have some really good co-workers. You meet some really nice people (customers).

Cons

Walgreens does not give enough hours for us to have enough help for the work that needs to be accomplished. Also getting 40 hour in 1 week is a joke. You can be scheduled to work 6 days in 1 week and still not get 40 hours, ridiculous! The job is not high on the degree of difficulty but the hardest part is dealing with the public.

Pros

- Large company, everyone knows Walgreen's - Great experience in a large corporate environment - Work/Life Balance

Cons

- Horrible management - Below average pay - No transparency - No investment in employees - Constantly replacing IT roles with outsourced company - Management doesn't listen to employee's opinions - Culture is horrendous. No respect among departments. - Walgreen's Corporate is still stuck in an old mindset. They need to 'get with the times' - Career growth is very limited within departments. Most vertical movement is done switching departments entirely.
