Most of their employees are friendly, hardworking individuals looking to better their own lives and those of the people around them, including customers.

Cons

In the past six years or so Walgreens corporate has shifted their focus from appreciating and rewarding their employees and listening to their concerns to a more bottom-line driven model, which has caused them to lose employees in all areas, from cashiers to management. This, in turn, has resulted in poorer working conditions for their remaining employees and an abysmal shopping experience for their customers.

At one time it was a nice place to work

Cons

Constant over use of micro-management with employees to the level of harassment. Over loaded with more task than an employee can complete. You can be discriminated against if you can’t perform a certain task due to phisical limitations. Age discrimination against older employees. Misuse and extreme over use of accountability and discipline.
