The people are generally very friendly and supportive, usually willing to help out whenever and wherever they can. The company has grassroots meetings to invite employee input on needed changes and ideas and gives cost of living raises in addition to the general raise schedule.
Cons
The insurance is based upon catastrophic coverage rather than general need coverage. This leaves the average person paying more in doctor appointments than the insurance company. Get in trouble for working overtime unless planned.
I've worked for Walmart for the past 8 years; it has drastcally changed for the worse in the past few years. Not that is was ever top dog in my books...
Cons
Very high turn over, managment not knowledgeable. Company as a whole doesn't care about its people!!
