Pros

-Plenty of tech help -People have shopping to do so the pressure to get prescriptions filled immediately is a lot lower than other retailers -Half of the days of the week, you might have triple overlap for around 6 hours of the day. Three-fourths of the days, you have at least double overlap for 90% of the day -Most medications are really cheap, so there is a lot less conflict from customers over prices -Less likely to get robbed versus CVS, Walgreens, or independent pharmacies -The number of metrics at Walmar are wayyy lower than other retailers. The metrics are also pretty achievable. -6% matching 401k -10% employee discount -Health insurance that is inexpensive and also pays the first $300 of healthcare costs each year -Store Managers never even come back to the pharmacy. So, it's not like at CVS or Walgreens where the pharmacists are below the store manager (who often has a 1/4 of the education as pharmacists)

Cons

-People think that the clientele is a lot worse at walmart than other retailers. Not true. People are people wherever you go.

Pros

You will learn a lot. Take it all in.

Cons

They are slave drivers. You work all the time. Right now they hire the most qualified for who will work for the least amount of money. You'll be fine if you're the Yes Man type. Don't question the authority or you're argumentative.

Pros

Walmart really does have a culture of respect for the individual and integrity. My department participated in flexible work plans. I worked at home some every week. My managers really cared about me as a person. Access to marvelous speakers and programming in the Home Office. - Great professional development.

Cons

In an attempt to remain competitive and relevant in the market about every 18 months to 2 years there would be major layoffs of hundreds if not thousands as the business pivoted to recreate itself.
