Team leaders can be rude sometimes and look down on you.

Pros

Starting pay decent to slightly below decent. Co-workers team building encouraged for the most part.

Cons

Managers seem distant even though they may see you every day. The treatment of sick or/and injured people could be better. Prepare to be overworked if short-handed.

Pros

If you are a quick learner, the fact that they don't really train you (but co-workers help) won't be a problem. Management seems to be very understanding and supportive. It's actually a lot better than I thought it would be. It's definitely a teamwork kind of place, but you still have the freedom of doing your own thing. Just make sure you are a motivated worker.

Cons

Lack of initial training can be a little frustrating, but it's not hard to pick up the flow of what is expected of you. (If you ask questions, they are happy to help. ) Because of how diverse and accepting Walmart is, you may have to work with some challenging people.
