Culture is "need to know", don't ask questions, don't make suggestions, salute and do what you are told; company can make money this way but it won't create long-term loyal team-members Many departments seem to have high turnover;

Pros

Wells Fargo offers challenging work with a strong culture of promoting from within. The benefits, including matching contributions to charities, are great. The pay is decent, but the lower you are the lower your pay.

Cons

Sometimes it can be very difficult to work for such a massive company. If you consider yourself 1 in 15,000+ employees, it can be a bit daunting.

above average 401k plans, and health insurance. provided all the tools needed to be good at you're job. bonus's are easy to obtain.

Cons

Every job position that you have direct contact with a customer you are expected to see additional products to them. I understand we are in business to sell financial products but Wells Fargo brings it to the extreme with what they expect out of their employee's. Do you have a solicitation preference on you're account? No problem we have a script we can read to you to get around that.
