Pros

They offer a decent base salary, considering it is a sales job. You also have set hours with some overtime required, but you can have a good work life balance and put in the time to be successful. It is a decent work envieronment. Most of the people I met at other offices and my own were generally younger. They recruit a lot of people right out of college, and most of the offices did offer a pretty fun environment, as long as, the office was doing well.

Cons

The products offered are not very competitive. They expect you to sell high rate, high fee products. It is an aggressive sales environment. The bonus structure could be better, especially when you look at the kinds of rates and fees you will be forced to sell. Managers get compensated based on the branches proffittability, so it benefits there bonus.

Pros

They're not laying people off. That's it! To work here you must like working for people who have no grip on reality and can't be honest with their boss because they have to be a yes-man so they don't get fired.

Cons

will only get ahead with a yes-man mentality and completely sellout your personal beliefts and agree to be brainwashed. management was groomed from within...these aren't people who went to good colleges and majored in management let alone have an MBA. they were good salespeople...and even though that doesn't equate to managing well....they got job. total micro-management!!! you would think they'd know that happy employees are better employees....but they just drag you down with all the conference calls and tracking charts and then ask why you don't hit goals (ps.....about .1 to 1% of employees are hitting the "goals"). management is a bunch of kiss-arses who only got ahead by breeding more like them. this is how companies like countrywide went down.....management not listening to the people at ground level!!
