Pros

The Bar at Wells Fargo is non-existent. If you show up, you are already a satisfactory employee.

Cons

There is zero incentive to do anything extra. Salary and bonus is based on annual review and corporate wide they restrict how many can receive an “exceeds”. So basically no matter what you do, you are satisfactory and receive minimal annual increase and partial bonus.

The only pro I can think of is that my chair swivels

Cons

Terrible culture, terrible senior leadership who blame the rank and file employees for their bad business decisions, discriminatory hiring practices, continued widespread unethical behavior, misconduct and retaliation, pay inequity for women, toxic boys club culture, non-inclusive workplace for disabled employees, I could go on but am exceeding the max characters, Wells is now a Harvard case study for corporate ethics.

Pros

The only pros left for the employee is the generous amount of PTO. By the end of my 18 years there if I chose to work on holiday's it would be upwards of 38 paid days off a year.

Cons

Senior leaders talk about being transparent but they will avoid it at all costs. They will promote underperforms that their biggest strength is kissing but but they say they are a performance based company. They will pay more for people coming in from the outside into positions they are not qualified for then employees with Exceeding ratings and 10+ years in the role.
