Pros

- pay packages can be good - nice building with convenient location in London - hybrid working policy

Cons

- absolutely no opportunities to develop your career in London - the London office is seen as a “nuisance” strategically. All decision making happens in the US - disorganised operating model where you cannot be a manager unless you have a team of 7. This does not work for a small regional office such as the one on London. - poor image and constant regulatory issues - abysmal IT systems - overly bureaucratic policies - unwillingness to change anything at the bank - some senior management are “part of the furniture” and lack motivation to improve things

Pros

1) good company to work. 2) salary is not bad 3) work life balance depends on project and lob 4) transport fees 5) good technology depends on ur fate. 6) luckily my manager is too good, but most of the managers are not that good. Lot of micro management i have seen.

Cons

1) no employee benefits most of them are removed in recent times 2) work life balance depends on project 3) late night US calls 4) lot of politics between India and US teams. 5) Now a days job security is at stake. 6) we need to work both in india and us. Here managers ask us to lot of work for their job safety. 7) Indian managers are just people managers they don't have any hold on US 8) US teams are bad they don't provide KT properly due to their job safety issues.

Pros

Good benefits including multiple weeks of PTO upfront

Cons

No Job security, they will randomly lay off people and post new positions for similar work instead of moving internal personnel. Too many layers of management and constant management changes. Worked for 18 years and had 14 different managers. Siloed job roles limit exposure to different work and job experience.
