Pros

I can’t think of any that are still in existence.

Cons

They have pushed out most of the long term employees who really cared about the stage coach, its customers, and their work. The benefits have steadily declined. One time 401k match at the end of the year, you lose it all if you leave before it’s paid out. Raises are laughable (1.3%) and bonuses are as well. Zero incentive or reward for doing a good job. They do job title and group reorgs periodically that will basically demote you. Getting a promotion is like pulling teeth, but harder. There is no clear path for career advancement. Managers that do not know what they are doing or how to be a good manager. So much more…it really went downhill. When I joined in 2016 I was so happy with it that I thought I would retire from there. Then came the new CEOs.

Pros

1. No micromanagement 2. Flexible work hours 3. Cab facility 4. Good cafeteria

Cons

1. No growth 2. Too much process and approvals if you want to change internally. 3. Mindless and illogical management tricks played during 2019-2021 to downsize QA roles. Paid less than 1℅ hike. Making advance development course mandatory to switch to dev roles?! I mean who even thought about such schemes to ruin careers. I underwent pressure to fulfill stringent timelines and technical upskilling unrelated to QA line of work. Nevertheless cleared it as I took up the challenge, as they clearly tired to underestimate QA engineers with these tactics. Even a experienced 10 year plus software engineers hasn't heard of some of the courses they included for us, which they expected us to learn in 3months time. Lost the little admiration left for the company. 4. Manager has absolutely no control over the direction of the projects and team members goals and ambition. Simply a dummy of higher management, who are just pocketing hefty salaries.
