Pros

Nothing is good in Western Union.

Cons

One of worst work culture company, there is no ethics of working. Every where it is blaming other team members even though mistake is from person who is complaining. Bad management and leadership without any vision and direction for product. No Process has been followed, every thing is on fly as people think here they are more superior but in actual they are far behind with market standards in terms of work, technology, thinking. Due to this worst work culture, no process, employee suffers a lot and there is no work life balance. Leadership presssurize to do things, if it is failure all blame goes to employees, it's a management, leadership failed but they can't take it they will save their position, many leaders and people are like this in Western Union. No Hackathon or any constructive events happens for employees.

Pros

Salary on time Cab service Great office space

Cons

Company is going through a cost-cutting phase so currently are firing folks. Your employment contract has no meaning here, they will change contract when they feel like it, with no chance of negotiation. Talent has no relevance here, its all about what needs to be done to please the management in US. Folks at US have no idea how they are being tricked by Indian managers to stretch the project timelines. Join the company at your own perils, if you only want to do menial job. Increments are peanuts and promotion cycles are really really long. Promotions and recognition are only offered to folks who will be nodding yes to whatever manager says, no questions asked. Engineering managers have sub standard technical skill set and have little to no knowledge of platform they work in. Placing people on PIP is common here.
