Pros

Used to be that the freedom to operate the way you want used to be the best thing about Wipro. This is fast disappearing.

Cons

Management does not understand the market or how to establish strong relationships with clients. The new CEO has decided to crack the whip and flog the sales force. In the meantime, the core issues of creating service offerings that are up to scratch, fixing the resourcing supply chain and pre-sales linger. Paper tigers get promoted to management positions with little evidence of meritocracy. The company's attempts to 'localize' the workforce have rubbed existing employees, clients and outsourcing advisors the wrong way.

Pros

Salary is good on paper but not worth the amount work.

Cons

Wipro looks appealing from the outside, but internally it’s a toxic and exhausting workplace. Employees face daily mental harassment, extreme pressure, and unrealistic targets, while attrition remains extremely high. Most SMEs and team leaders abandon processes for other assignments, leaving new hires with no guidance or support, forced to struggle alone. Basic facilities are poorly managed. Transport is chaotic and unsafe — 1,300 employees are often packed into a basement for hours just to catch a can home. The canteen food is unhygienic with very limited options. Rigid and exhausting shifts destroy any work-life balance, causing severe burnout and mental strain. Managers are unprofessional and unfair. Incentives earned by employees are often divided or withheld arbitrarily, creating frustration and distrust. The notice period process is deliberately torturous — emails are ignored, delays are forced, and obstacles are created to prevent employees from leaving smoothly. This adds unnecessary stress and makes exiting the company a mentally draining experience.

Pros

There are a few good people that work there that truly care about others and their success.

Cons

1. Extremely disorganized. 2. Front line employees do not get paid well, despite years of tenure. 3. You have to constantly watch your PTO because often times it is not correct. 4. This company always talks about the 5 habits in their culture, don’t believe a word of it. 5. There are a lot of clicks here, especially those that have been with the company for a while. 6. The gossip is out of control and no one is held accountable. 7. Follow through is terrible 8. Communication is terrible. 9. Most of HR cannot be trusted and are not looking out for your best interests. 10. This company will tell you one thing and do another. Run, don’t walk away.
