Foodora - A place you should never be at!

Pros

Extremely fast paced, gives you the opportunities

Cons

Oh, where should I start. Probably the best place where you see people licking each others bottmom to climb up the ladder. If you are good at it, then you will be given titles ranging from Head of so and so and then on. Otherwise you will be tormented to a point where you just leave after conceding defeat. I would never recommend it to anyone, no matter how enticing it might be. The management has no clue, with most of them young guys/girls with fancy job titles and who think they know everything. And don't get me even started on the working hours, you are expected to sacrifice any part of your personal life and become a bull on the mill.

Extremely toxic

Pros

Part of a global company although does not act along diversity

Cons

Very unethical management with toxic work culture. They follow the hire and fire policy. Please don’t join if you are looking for stability and a positive mental health. Overall there has been racial biases across which makes it less diverse and inclusive as a work place. Every employee is actively looking for external opportunities.

Pros

- complete freedom of schedule, pick up what ever shifts you want and travel/leave requests are always accepted - get paid to bike around - support is super understanding and nice - its not a job for everyone, few can handle biking a for hours in various weather, but for those who like it love it. so hit or miss depending on the person - works great as a side gig! loads of people do a few hours a week to make extra coin as they exercise

Cons

- wage does depend on tips, so no tips can really hurt u - although there is a range in how much people make, it is hard to make more than 25/hr. Realistically wages are usually 19/hr for me, some shifts i make a lil over 20/hr and worst shifts are like 17/16/hr . its a solid base range but not massive room for pay improvement working as a biker long term - full time can wear on ur body after a while, but eating good food, frequently, and sleeping proper hours ur body wont wear down - no benefits - no support if something happens to you or ur bike. Break ur arm and cant work for months? Hope you saved enough! Bike stolen? (happened to me) Well good luck getting one to use!
