I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in Dec 2015
Interview
I met with two managers that I would be assisting. They were interested in my background and asked questions on how I handled certain situations in the past in my current role. They told me a bit about the company that I was not aware of. I ultimately did not get the position because I did not have a banking background.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Capital One in Aug 2014
Interview
Didn't get the full interview. Not even a phone interview. After filling out an application, you fill out a questionnaire and choose a sentence that best describes you. I know I'm a hard worker, I take initiative and can manage multiple projects, but I guess you have to choose the 'right' answer in order for you to get a call back.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was none. Just statements like 'People would describe you as friendly' and you agree/disagree
It was a phone interview with a Capital Recruiter. He called the previous day to set up a time and called on schedule the next day. He was very professional and the interview lasted about 15 minutes. The questions were mostly about my background and why I wanted to work for Capital One. He went over the details of the job and asked about my salary requirements. After the interview he asked that I set up a time to speak with the hiring manager for a second phone interview.

Question 1
None of the questions were difficult at all. I did not expect for the telephone interview to be as in depth as it was.
