I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Dec 2017
Interview
A few 30 minute phone interviews followed by a day-long on-site visit to their office that consisted of longer, more in-depth interviews. These on-site interviews ranged from the normal discussions of past experiences, skills, culture, expectations of the position, etc. all the way to working through theoretical business and product cases.
Every person who interviewed me was very intelligent, easy to talk to, and very helpful throughout the process. I left the interviews thinking very highly of Capital One and the people who work there.

We then discussed and narrowed down the list of problems in order to then have a brainstorming session where we came up with possible product ideas to address the problems.
