It started with a recruit call, then a panel of interviews that assessed behavior fit and technical skills. The technical interview was a coding challenge that asked basic array sorting questions.

I applied online. I interviewed at Capital One (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2023
Interview
Initial coding test which was easy to medium level questions. Power Day was 4 rounds and was ok. Interview coding on power day was not that good as the interviewer was not able to convey the message and requirements clearly

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Jun 2024
Interview
Interview process is exactly how others have described it here. Two Technical Interviews, one case interview and one behavioral interview. Technical interviews should be pretty simple and easy for most as one is a code test and the other being just some system design questions. I suppose the case interview was the only reason I didn't get an offer because I did extremely well on the other 3 of the 4. I had prepared well for the case interview but unfortunately my interviewer was really just a bad interviewer. Not enthusiastic, didn't explain clearly what the problem was or what I was supposed to be doing, and didn't give any helpful feedback when I asked for clarification (they tell you to ask questions). I'm about 100% sure that he was the reason I wasn't given an offer. So just fair warning be prepared for these types of interviewers and keep your expectations low because they might be being patricularly picky at this moment in time.
