Interview
I was notified and got a call from citi if I am interested for this job. Asked a few details about my personal info and scheduled me an initial screening. I got to their bldg for the hirinf process. It took me a day to get the news. First was the initial screening. Interviewer asked me behavioral questions about my leadership and interpersonal skills. Second, an online test (versant). Was actually a fun test where you will use a phone and follow what the voice instructs you to do. Second interview was with the senior HR asked me about if I really want to be a part of the BPO industry, where do I see myself in five years etc. And lastly, the final interview. This interviewer was very rude. She was very condescending and mocking my personality. I would understand if she criticized my skills ans experience but no. She was on a power trip. Cuts me off when I'm trying to explain myself and even asked me 'so you think you're perfect?' mockingly. It was disturbingly rude for a professional to ask such question or blurt out such comment. I expected too much from this company. Sadly, it doesn't come close to any of my expectations judging from what the HR department has shown me. It was a learning experience for job seekers to learn the environment of the organization from the hiring process and its HR employees

Interview
There would be a total of three steps for the hiring process. First, one of the hr team will conduct an initial interview that may take around 5-10 minutes. He will just ask normal questions about your employment history and why did you choose Citi. He will also test your communication skills. On my case, he asked me to summarise the last movie that I saw. Since I was stuttering at that time, I was given another chance so I summarised another movie I have watched. I passed so the next step will be the online assessment that took around 1 hour and 30 minutes mostly about behavioural situations. Once you passed, the last step will be a panel interview wherein there will be two people interviewing you. One of them is an operations manager. It took them 45 minutes to interrogate me. I was so disappointed that just by nodding every time he talks and agreeing with what he says kind of annoyed him. He told me that he was kind of bothered by it. But that’s the way I am, right? So they proceeded on asking me questions. They will ask you to tell something about yourself that isn’t on your resume, your hobbies, your employment history, your future plans if get hired and etc. They will also question you about integrity and ask you state a situation that tested your integrity. Of course no employee is perfect so I told them one situation that tested my integrity before. I was just being honest and not being hypocrite. After the interview, you will just wait for 10-15 minutes for the result. Then, they would call you again and give you a feedback. They only feedback that I got was everything was somewhat fine except for the integrity part. So i failed the last part of the process. On my opinion, i think it would be better if integrity is asked on the initial interview so they would know if one is qualified or not right away. I have spent almost the whole day waiting for the result. Some of the applicants like me came from provinces and had a hard time commuting just to get a job. But a single mistake can ruin it. I hope Citi would be more considerate next time.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Citi (Taguig) in Dec 2017
Interview
It was a normal bpo interview process. You would have to sign up waiver of data consent, proceed to initial interview, exam, then I believe it's the panel interview. What they were looking for is someone who is either a fresh graduate without any experience or a high school graduate with 1 year of bpo experience. I am a fresh grad with 6 months of bpo experience because I used to be a working student. The recruiter didn't seem to focus on my credential though. He kept asking me why I only had 6 months of experience. I mean, what do you want me to do? I left because the account that I handled is not in line with the degree that I have. That's why I was applying to Citibank so I get in the banking industry and move forward together with the organization. I kept on explaining over and over again and he keeps on asking the same questions. We were not on the same page by the time I sat for his interview. He seemed so uninterested by the time we started talking.
