The hiring process at Deel takes an average of 5 days when considering 2 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Backend Engineer had the quickest hiring process (on average 5 days), whereas Backend Engineer roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 5 days).
The interview was well arranged and professional. Recruiter seemed very knowledgable about the structures of the company, setups etc.
However, I do find it difficult, when recruiter can't share any salary range indications.

Question 1
What are your previous experiences working in an Agile setup?
HR screening then takehome test: takehome requirements are sloppily written and tasks are easy to misunderstand; using inconsistent terminology and vague processes. whole thing feels super casual but then they want it done exactly as they thought when grading. basically you have to mind read.
they ask you to do this in 3 hours which nobody will ever do because they also ask for extra stuff (unit testing, frontend implementation) which is "optional" but you have to do if you want to stand a chance.

Question 1
Are you ok with working late and hard? that's the environment here
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Deel in Sep 2024
Interview
Rejected after the first 30' call with HR, but I had a quick response with details explaining the rejection.
Way more respectful than tons of other companies that simply ghost you after a 6-steps-2-tests process.
Correct salaries for the role
