You have a virtual introduction meeting with multiple people where you just get to learn more about the role you are applying for, then you schedule your exam and if selected, you'll have another interview. If you get an offer, you will be invited to visit the Epic campus and take a tour.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Epic (Ann Arbor, MI) in Feb 2026
Interview
The real interview was four hours long. If you have multiple roles you're being considered for they will give you an info session on each. You have a case study with two other people, then you'll do a presentation on something of your choice (no powerpoint allowed) then you have the actual interview. Barely any technicals other than the group case study.
Assessment and then a virtual interview. Asked me about myself, and I had to give a presentation over a topic of my choosing. The entire process took about a month and a half due to my own busy schedule, but my contact was always very quick to respond and helpful anytime I asked questions.
