Interview
First, I completed a general skills assessment online. Then, I had an interview day but it was mainly talking to a current employee about the role. As far as I could tell, there wasn't really an interview for this role - I did do a case study interview for Project Manager at the same time, but I don't know how much it applied to TS. I was interviewed by HR about my motivations for the job and career goals. Finally, I completed a coding assessment asynchronously.

Question 1
How long do you plan to stay at the job? Do you plan to attend grad school?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Jun 2022
Interview
Started with a quick phone call, then had to do some assessments, then another interview, then more assessments, then a final 4 hour interview.
The assessments were very lengthy, but everyone during the interview process was super nice.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Jun 2022
Interview
(1) Phone screening with someone in the role:
This was super casual, just giving you an overview of the job description (I don't even think they care about your resume yet at this point)
(2) Epic skills assessment:
Somewhat like the SAT/ACT questions, you have up to four hours but you definitely don't need it. Basic math/problem-solving questions. There's a section at the end that tests your "coding" abilities. They make up a fake language and ask you to follow along and guess what outputs would be. Super easy if you have any coding background at all.
(3) Programming assessment:
I don't think this actually has much of an impact on whether you get the TSE role -- I think it's more so used to gauge your knowledge/how much training you would need
(4) Final interview:
Consisted of an overview of the software, an interview with someone in the TSE role, a case study (where they gauge your ability to prioritize tasks), and then a final interview with an HR member
