I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI)
Interview
Went through phone screening with HR, phone call with design, then had to take numerous tests and design a mockup. Lots of time and effort for process but overall fairly easy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you verify your GPA and where you went to school?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Jun 2018
Interview
It was weird. The recruiter wanted to verify that I really went to an Ivy League school for undergrad, and had me repeat certain facts on my resume (like what you'd do when you call your credit card company). There were no UX related questions.
She gave me a design challenge, but did not follow up for 4+ weeks (despite me pinging her). By that time I already had an offer from a company I liked, so I ended the interview process.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Columbia, MO) in Jul 2015
Interview
The interview process was done in steps. The first step was fairly casual; a recruiter reached out to me after I applied online. They asked me a little about myself, interests, and experience.
The second process was much more difficult. There was a proctored exam you are required to take, depending on what position you're applying for.
